About CJOG
Welcome to the official web page of the Clinical Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (CJOG). Launched in 2016 and published by Heighten Science Publications Inc., CJOG is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing high-quality research in obstetrics and gynecology worldwide.
Mission and Vision
The mission of CJOG is to provide a rigorous platform for the dissemination of original clinical, translational, and review articles in all sub-disciplines of obstetrics and gynecology. We aim to promote accessible scholarly knowledge, stimulate global collaboration, and ensure equitable opportunities for authors from diverse geographical, economic and institutional backgrounds.
Our vision is to contribute meaningfully to women’s health and reproductive medicine by publishing sound evidence, promoting ethical research conduct, and supporting knowledge translation into clinical practice and policy.
Journal History
CJOG was established in 2016 by Heighten Science Publications Inc. as part of a broader initiative to serve the clinical sciences globally. In its formative years, the journal sought to build a reputation for rapid yet rigorous double-blind peer review. According to the journal homepage, the review process is double-blind and the journal is published quarterly.
The journal’s 2023 Index Copernicus ICV was listed at 96.27. Over the years, CJOG has published original research, case reports, systematic reviews and meta-analyses spanning global networks of authors, with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, reproductive endocrinology, minimally invasive gynecology, and health policy in obstetrics and gynecology.
